BROK the InvestiGator

BROK the InvestiGator combines a detective story with point-and-click investigation and side-scrolling fights. Its animal characters live in a divided future where the privileged shelter under a dome. PC controls suit its mix of clues and combat; Android users can test the Windows build with Winlator, but compatibility is unconfirmed.

Storyline

Brok works as a private detective while trying to care for Graff, his late wife’s son. A case gradually reaches beyond a single client and into the unequal society around them. The story responds to choices, including whether Brok solves a problem by reasoning through it or by force.

Gameplay

Crime scenes ask you to inspect objects, question characters, and combine evidence. When talk fails, Brok can fight directly in beat ’em up sections. You can lean toward one approach, but neither replaces the need to pay attention to the scene. The shifts in pace are deliberate: a clue may matter as much as a successful combo.
