Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

With its futuristic exoskeletons, fast-paced combat, and endless replayability, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes first-person shooter mastery to a whole new level that will keep both PC and mobile gamers coming back for more. This powerhouse, created by Sledgehammer Games, has a great campaign, multiplayer that makes you feel like you’re falling, and cooperative Exo Zombies hordes. From being the best on a desktop to being the worst on Android through emulators like Winlator, Advanced Warfare sends players into a world where powered armor makes every jump, dash, and frag more powerful.

Storyline

In a world that is falling apart, the KVA terrorist group sets off synchronized nuclear meltdowns in reactors all over the world. This destroys governments and makes private military companies the most powerful. Players take on the role of Jack Mitchell, a U.S. Marine Private whose squad stops a brutal North Korean attack in Seoul. In the middle of the chaos, Mitchell loses his left arm while saving Will Irons, the son of the mysterious Atlas CEO Jonathan Irons. This leads to his honorable discharge. Irons personally hires Mitchell at Will’s funeral and gives him a high-tech exoskeletal prosthetic arm. He then puts him in the same elite group as stoic operative Gideon at Atlas. Together, they lead daring operations, like saving a Nigerian leader in Lagos and taking back Seattle, which had been irradiated. This makes Atlas the savior of humanity against the KVA scourge.

Things take a turn when Mitchell finds out that Irons is using Machiavellian methods to control the nuclear disasters in order to gain power. Mitchell runs away with hacker Ilona and grizzled ex-Marine Sergeant Cormack, who is now a member of the anti-Atlas Sentinel Task Force. He reveals the Manticore bio-weapon, a DNA-selective toxin that only affects Atlas personnel. Atlas attacks on famous places like San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge start a global war. In a heart-pounding ending on top of New Baghdad’s skyline fortress, Mitchell storms headquarters, breaks Manticore missiles, and faces the egomaniac Irons, whose fall from grace depends on making tough choices, forming alliances, and sealing fates in several movie endings.

Gameplay

The campaign in Advanced Warfare changes the way you move around by giving you exosuits that let you boost jump for multi-level battles, dash dodge to get away, and slam attack to make enemies fall. Missions are full of action, like climbing skyscrapers, flying hovercrafts, and using directed-energy rifles that overheat to make big explosions. Get upgrade tokens by completing intel hunts and challenges. These tokens can improve exo traits like battery life, armor strength, or stealth when cloaked. Speed-reloading empties clips quickly. Non-linear elements let players dynamically tackle objectives by mixing rail-shooter parts with squad commands for more tactical depth.

The Pick 13 system makes multiplayer explode by letting players freely add weapons, perks, lethals, and scorestreaks to 13 points for custom loadouts. There are over 350 tweaks available for different versions. Exo powers like stim for health bursts, shield for bulletproof bubbles, and cloak for ghosting flanks add chaos to maps that are already great for aerial dogfights and wall-running frenzies. Exo Zombies lets you defend against hordes of undead with exo-enhanced zombies, class-based scorestreaks, and ever-harder objectives like grabbing intel while Chargers and EMZ zombies disable suits. Pack-a-punch upgrades and wonder weapons keep the waves coming. In Exo Survival, teams fight against AI legions in wave-based holds that mix strategy with raw firepower.

Playing Experience

Advanced Warfare is an exciting game where exo boosts send players flying through the air to ambush enemies on rooftops and fight in zero-G space battles. Every battle turns into an acrobatic ballet of destruction. Multiplayer marathons get people hooked on supply drops and leaderboard climbs, while Zombies’ maps with celebrity voices make people want to play “just one more round.” PC lets you see the best graphics and create your own chaos, while Winlator on Android turns phones into exo-war machines that give you responsive thrills on the go without losing the show.
