Immersive Storyline

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number tells the story of 13 people who are caught up in the mysterious 50 Blessings cult in Miami in the late 1980s. Their lives are like a broken mosaic of blood-soaked destinies. Flashbacks show Jacket’s trial for the rampage he caused in the first game, and prequels follow soldiers, fanatics, and outcasts who are pushed into genocidal rage. Beard storms Hawaiian beaches in a made-up Russo-American war, but things quickly turn into mafia vendettas. The Fans trio idolizes Jacket and wears masks to kill people, which starts biker gang wars.

As Alex desperately tries to get away from a nightclub that is falling apart, new rivalries arise. Pardo’s corrupt cop kills rivals with gleeful sadism. 50 Blessings’ neo-nationalist plot to start a nuclear apocalypse is revealed through interwoven vignettes. Their phone calls draw pawns into oblivion. In a crazy attack on the White House, endings come together, and choices echo across timelines—what is good for one person is bad for another.
