Storyline

Alphonse Harding, a battle-hardened operative with scars from years of service, has gone to a remote forest to get away from the Covert Operations Initiative (COI). When General Burkin, Harding’s old boss, asks him to do one last job, he says no. This leads to COI forces invading his safe place. A squad member’s casual killing of a bird seems like a small thing, but it makes Harding very angry. He goes from being the victim to the predator in a brutal revenge story full of bodies and betrayal.

As the conflict gets worse, Harding finds more layers of lies through radio taunts and short-term alliances, like rogue agent Byron Ford, who gives him information at great risk to himself. Demolition teams tear down buildings, attack helicopters fly over, and shock troops close in, but Harding’s relentless attacks force Burkin to face the monster he made. A moving addition changes the focus to COI survivors in a support group, whose exaggerated stories show how terrifying Harding has become.

Gameplay

The main gameplay takes place in replayable micro-sandboxes, which are small, comic book-like levels full of goals like destroying enemy camps, sabotaging satellites, or running to extraction points. Players take on Harding’s superhuman speed and agility, chaining together parkour moves like climbing trees, swinging on ropes, sliding under obstacles, and dropping skulls on soldiers. Weapons are easy to find and throw away. You can grab pistols for quick headshots, throw shotguns to knock enemies off balance for melee stomps, or set up bear traps and claymores as traps. Environmental kills, like setting off hornet nests or blowing up barrels, make the chaos more interesting.

A never-ending time limit requires efficiency, and it keeps going down but comes back up when you kill enemies (faster with explosives or finishers). If you fail, you have to start over right away to get the best results. From D to S, grades measure speed and body count. Higher grades unlock bonus levels and encourage players to find the best routes. Equipment like RPGs for taking down helicopters and herbs that restore health keep the action going. Players use a mix of tactical positioning and unbridled aggression in a cycle of hunt, adapt, and dominate.

I Am Your Beast is exciting because of its fast-paced flow, where responsive controls and smooth movement create euphoric “one more run” loops.
