Storyline

In the Realm of Divinity, players create their own heroic story based on the classic story of Sun Wukong and his friends. You are in charge of a group of legendary heroes, each with their own story and powers. You guide them through four chapters full of events that are connected, over 120 NPCs, and moral dilemmas. Choices affect alliances, who you hire, and even the fates of mythical creatures. There are 60 different endings, such as going to Heaven, gaining wisdom at Soul Mountains, or fighting forever in the Plane of Eternity.

The story unfolds through hero-specific storylines and player-driven choices that reveal dark secrets behind the omen of darkness. Use smart tricks like love potions or holy conversions to get friends, and then see how your actions affect the world. As you discover personal quests, fight ancient enemies, and decide what is right and wrong, every step feels important. This makes for a rich, branching adventure that is worth playing through multiple times.

Journey to the West is all about building decks and fighting with other players in real time. Put together a team of up to five heroes and companions, each of whom brings their own cards from a pool of more than 500. Then, fight mythical creatures in turn-based battles. Use consumables or special abilities to hire temporary NPCs, manage relics for big boosts, and change your strategy with curse cards and environmental summons like the Spirits of Five Elements to beat tough enemies.

Exploration and progression focus on giving players choices and the ability to replay runs that are affected by procedures. Collect relics and consumables to make your deck better, change items to get new effects, and take on events that change your team or open up new paths. The gameplay stays fresh because of hero-specific mechanics like Wukong’s shapeshifting AOE attacks and the White Dragon’s water control.
