Spider-Man - Friend or Foe

In Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, players are thrown into a different universe where Sam Raimi’s famous villains don’t die in the movies. This leads to an unlikely alliance in the middle of global chaos. The action starts in New York when Spider-Man fights Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, and Venom in a fierce battle, with New Goblin’s help for a short time. Victory is short-lived when swarms of P.H.A.N.T.O.M.s—horrible Perpetual Holographic Avatar Nano-Tech Offensive Monsters made from symbiotes and holographic tech—attack and teleport the enemies away. Nick Fury, who was saved by S.H.I.E.L.D., says that a broken Venom symbiote meteor has scattered shards all over the world, giving an unknown enemy’s army the power to take over.

Spider-Man flies off in a Helicarrier with Prowler and Silver Sable as sidekicks after being hired as the best agent. In Tokyo, which is full of neon lights, he teams up with Black Cat to free Doctor Octopus and Green Goblin from mind control in boss fights that twist tentacles and swoop down on gliders. This adds their powers to the list. The jungles of Tangaroa Island are home to the brutal Scorpion and Rhino, who unlock Iron Fist’s chi blasts. After defeating Sandman, Lizard’s wild power comes from the sands of Cairo. Transylvania’s dark shadows show off Blade’s sword work, which frees Venom, who says that the mastermind has a “bubble head.” The last part takes place in Nepal’s mountains. Mysterio steals the shards, but Spider-Man crushes the last one, getting his black symbiote suit back and getting even angrier. He defeats Mysterio in an epic battle, gets the artifacts, and comes back as a hero. Fury hints at “Project Carnage” while paying off Peter’s school loans and teasing symbiote experiments.

Gameplay delivers a punchy 3D beat ’em up platformer with seamless co-op—Player 1 as ever-agile Spider-Man, Player 2 commanding sidekicks. Switch allies on-the-fly for tactical depth: Doc Ock lashes tentacles, Green Goblin bombs from gliders, Venom unleashes tendril frenzy, Iron Fist shatters with glowing fists, Lizard regenerates through hordes. Spider-Man’s web arsenal evolves via tech trees—zip lines for traversal, shoot webs for range, stun bursts for crowds. Collect DNA helices for bios and art, tokens fund upgrades like Hero Strikes (devastating team ultras wiping screens). Linear levels blend brawling, platforming, and puzzles across Tokyo streets, island ruins, Egyptian tombs, and Himalayan fortresses. Boss recruitments flip rivals to assets, with secret rooms unlocking versus arenas. Repetitive waves build to satisfying combos, air juggles, and environmental smashes, perfect for solo or duo romps.

The tag-team frenzy is exciting whether you’re fighting on a PC with sharp graphics or sending webs anywhere with Winlator. After the game, you can unlock New Goblin, which adds to the chaos.
